October 2013 - Idaho

Today is day 19 of the trip. I drove 89 miles today, for a total of 2315 miles so far.

- Yachats and Florence
ah, a lazy Sunday on the coast in the off-season! Coffee and wifi at the annoying place in Yachats (still annoying, and I keep coming back every time!). Watch the voilent waves at Cape Perpetua, then another coffee at the pleasant, un-annoying place in Florence (I shoulda gotten tea this time). Somewhere around Reedsport was a really depressing run of “harvested” forest. You know it’s happening, but it’s awful to actually see it.
I started the day at Tillicum Beach Campground. I ended the day at Sunset Bay Campground.

Still really nice! However it is a pain in the a-- to get to, from the north, 25 stressy, suburban-trafficy minutes from 101. Once you get here though, all is mellow and good. (site D-8 woulda been better than D-7)
