Campground, cabins, and a restaurant in the junction town of Hanksville. The campground is reasonably priced. The restaurant has frustrating service and indifferent food, but it's a short walk.
Layout is the same as six years ago, but they've changed the name and cleaned everything up a lot. It's still cheap for car/tent campers. They had spots on a Saturday night, so I love them!
Maybe the ugliest spot in 100 miles, junkyard next door, two gas stations... but very user-friendly. I'm glad I stayed.
At this time the place was called Red Rock Campground. Now it has a facelift and a new name.
This place will forever be special to me because this is where I rid myself of the mouse that had been plaguing me for days. (S)he left for a better situation at the restaurant dumpster!
