Out of all my options, visiting good ole Jeff seemed like the best bet for a June Saturday night where everyone in NorCal is out going somewhere.

It was the quietest, lowest-key visit ever, but that's ok. Being that he runs a produce stand, he can whip up an amazing salad on a moment's notice

Jeff lives here full time now. He quit his job and gave up his Reno apt, and now lives a live of hard working semi-retirement.

He was having a friend over anyway, so I lucked into a great steak cookout!

Heading to Petaluma, stopped here prior to an afternoon of looking at houses in Chico.

Nobody home when I got here, place was deserted when I went to bed, but hopping with activity when I got up on Friday morning.

Still a ton of snow - like three feet in some places - up here, so I had to sleep in the front parking lot. It was not noisy though ... no trucks! Jeff says that's a winter weekend thing. In the summer the logging trucks start at 4 AM.

Jeff has invited me forever, I am finally passing through. Enjoyed him, his buddy living in a trailer, my friends up from Reno, his visiting relatives, and the endless stream of locals who know everybody, it seems. A very lively place!
